Caspar van Strijp
Assistant Project ManagerAfter my studies, I started to work in the Innovations Department as an R&D Engineer. A young and dynamic department where you work in teams with the right know-how, or completely independently, in order to arrive at concrete results. In that job, I worked on a wide range of subjects, varying from small but often advanced modifications and applications to large structural changes that have more impact on the functioning of Allseas' vessels. After just a few months, I went to the Gulf of Mexico to gain some hands-on experience.
A variety of roles
After that, I became Systems Integration Manager Pipelay, responsible for the outfitting, commissioning and trials of equipment in the firing line, in close co-operation with the commissioning team. As a Package Manager, ensuring that the assigned owner furnished equipment packages are managed, designed, fabricated, installed, tested and transported to site and meet Allseas’ requirements. Currently, I'm Assistant Project Manager in our new office in Kuala Lumpur.
Develop yourself in various areas
Within Allseas, the expectations are high, but on the other hand, you are given responsibility within the company right from the beginning. Besides the opportunity to develop yourself in various areas, you also face challenges where contacts with other professional project teams are of central importance.
