Visa Specialist

The Visa Specialist works within the Travel and Visa Desk. This department is responsible for a wide range of travel preparations for Allseas' employees and contractors, both offshore on board our vessels and onshore in our offices.

The department manages a wide range of visa preparations for Allseas' staff and contractors. This includes making all necessary visa-related arrangements, informing travellers about necessary documents in a timely manner and advising the organization on relevant developments.

The Visa Specialist supports all office staff in their visa applications through a correct, complete and appropriate administration and advises, manages and implements the policies and regulations regarding visa and offshore administration applications for all office staff.

Your role

  • Applying for visas and work permits on behalf of office staff and subcontractors;
  • Ensure all visa documentation is up to date;
  • Provide all necessary visa-related arrangements based on a duly approved visa application;
  • Inform travellers in a timely manner about necessary documents related to their visa;
  • Effectively manage and administer the visa, seaman books and medical articles.
  • Applying for, processing and distributing Dutch and/or Maltese seaman's certificates/books + making seaman letters;
  • Verify and assign all visa-related invoices for approval;
  • Publish updated visa guidelines on the company's intranet and inform employees.

What we expect from you

As a Visa Specialist you are customer-oriented and you like to work together with the team to offer optimal support to the organization.

In addition, you have

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a visa specialist;
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office and Adonis is an advantage;
  • No 9-5 mentality;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
  • Affinity with the offshore and/or marine environment is preferred.
