Allseas Group S.A. and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (“Allseas”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
This privacy policy provides details about the personal information that we collect from you, how we use your personal information and your rights regarding the personal information that we hold about you.
Please read this policy carefully. By submitting your information to Allseas, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the practices described in this policy.
How we collect your personal data
When you apply for a vacancy at Allseas, through the online application form or through interaction at recruitment fairs, subscribe to mailing lists for news updates or press releases, email our Corporate Communications Department, or provide us with your contact details (e.g. business cards), we will process personal information about you. We may also collect your personal data when you provide this information to us by other means of communication, for example in interviews, correspondence and over the telephone.
Personal data that we collect about you
The types of personal data we collect from you may include:
- Personal details, including name, e-mail address, postal address and phone number(s);
- Resume / CV, including details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history;
- Information generated by interviewers and recruiters, based on their interactions with you;
- Material provided by third-party recruiters, referees or previous employers, where applicable;
- References provided on your behalf by others;
- Passport or visa documentation that may be required to apply for a job with Allseas.
Personal data regarding suspected or actual criminal behaviour, criminal records or criminal proceedings may be processed as part of the pre-employment process, but only for certain roles and as permitted under the applicable law(s). If you apply for a vacancy that is subject to such a check, we will advise you separately.
Using your personal data
Allseas may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To process your application for a company vacancy;
- To assess your suitability for employment for the role for which you are applying, as well as future roles that may become available;
- To manage your application;
- To initiate contact with you;
- To send you a news update or press release;
- To invite you to an event;
- To comply with all applicable laws and legal obligations;
- To protect the interests of Allseas (except where such interests are overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms);
- To prevent fraud or detect suspicious activities.
To the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect Allseas’ right to process personal data obtained prior to the withdrawal of your consent.
Storing your personal data
Allseas does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected.
If your application is successful, and you accept an offer of employment from Allseas, personal data collected during the recruitment process will become part of your Allseas personnel records, to be retained throughout and for a period after your employment with Allseas. The periods for which your data will be retained will be provided to you in a new privacy notice.
If your application for employment is unsuccessful, Allseas will delete your personal data within four weeks of the end of the application procedure. With your consent, Allseas can store information collected during the recruitment process for up to one year in order to consider you for future employment opportunities. When you submit your application, you will be asked whether you consent to us retaining your details for one year. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted or destroyed.
General emails sent directly to our Corporate Communications Department will be deleted as soon as they have been read, responded to, or otherwise dealt with as applicable.
Information stated on business cards will be stored for as long as the (potential) business relation remains active. Annual checks will be performed to make sure the registered data is still up to date and required for the purposes described herein.
Sharing your personal data with third parties
The information you submit may be shared internally for recruitment purposes. This may include personnel in the HR, IT, Legal and Finance departments, interviewers involved in the recruitment process and your future managers and their designees, if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.
We will not share your personal data with third parties, unless you have granted us permission to take up a reference, or this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
General emails sent to our Corporate Communications Department may be shared internally in case this is necessary to answer your initial correspondence. We will not share your personal data with third parties, unless you have granted us permission after we have contacted you or this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Information stated on business cards will not be shared with third parties, unless you have granted us permission after we have contacted you or this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data that we have collected about you for the purposes of reviewing, modifying, or requesting deletion of the data. You also have the right to data portability.

Protecting your personal data
Allseas takes the protection of your data seriously. We have implemented strict internal checks and controls to protect personal data from loss, misuse, revision, disclosure or destruction.
If you feel that your personal data is not properly protected or if there are indications of abuse, please contact us via corporate.communications@allseas.com.
When applicants do not provide personal data
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide Allseas with your personal data during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
Media database
We only collect basic personal data about journalists and fellow PR/media professionals including name, phone number, email, publication/company and job function. Such data is registered for the purpose of sending information to the media: press releases, invitations to events and interviews, news sharing, etc. The registered data will be stored for as long as the journalist is still active. Annual checks will be performed to make sure the registered data is still up to date and required for the purposes described herein.
Minors
The online application form / recruitment process are not designed for or directed at children 16 years of age or younger, and Allseas does not intentionally collect or maintain personal data about anyone under this age. If you are less than 16 years of age, then you must first seek the consent of your parents or guardians prior to submitting any personal information.
Changes
Allseas’ privacy policy is reviewed periodically and may be subject to change. Any changes to the privacy policy will be posted on this page and are effective on the date of posting.
