Workstudent Fabrication Heijningen

We are looking for an enthusiastic Workstudent who is detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to join the Sales Department at our fabrication-, maintenance-, and repair and testsite in Heijningen, the Netherlands. The department produces all the detailed fabrication Cost-calculations for equipment and structures constructed in the fabrication shop.

Your role

Your job is to thoroughly analyse and investigate our current calculation tool Rollerguide (Excel based) on miscalculations to track down the cause the root of these miscalculation. You will try to come up with an advice on how to further develop, and where possible improve, this tool. 

The assignment will also include developing a similar calculation tool for Heads. In order to do so, you will be in close contact with a divers team of colleagues: the Calculator, Planner, Fabricationmanager and Procurement, to gain an understanding of the determining factors for setting the cost price and which factors are the largest that affect the total and/or final price. 

You will work on this six months’ assignment for three days per week, mainly from our Heijningen and occasionally at our Delft office.

What we expect from you

To be successful in this role of Workstudent you are a MBO/HBO technical student with an excellent knowledge of Excel and an accurate way of working. You are a selfstarter, willing to learn and not afraid to ask for help when needed. You love to take initiative and to expand and share your technical insights.

You have good command of both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken.
