We are looking for an enthusiastic Field Engineer who combines excellent communication skills with technical insight and is project oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to join our Pipeline Engineering Department in Delft, the Netherlands. As part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, your focus is preparatory work such as design, analyses, working procedures, material take off and off shore engineering support in relation to Allseas projects, such as removal projects executed by Allseas’ record-breaking single-lift vessel Pioneering Spirit.
As a Field Engineer, you are in a schedule of 5 weeks on the vessel and 5 weeks off combined with a total of minimum 8 weeks in the office over multiple stints. The 8 weeks in the office are essential for your role as an interface between the Installation Engineers in the office and the Superintendent and Barge Foreman on the ship. Therefore, you will start in the role of Installation Engineer for training purposes before you move in your role of Field Engineer. We are looking for a project oriented engineer, technically savvy, who can work well under pressure, juggle and prioritise multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
