Allseas, a leader in offshore projects, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager for our Project Planning & Cost Control (PP&CC) Department. Your role

As the Manager of the department, you will be at the forefront of our project organization. You will provide leadership and supervision to a team of 25-30 planning engineers and cost controllers spread across our offices in the Netherlands, Houston, Australia and Malaysia. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of SAP, which is set to go live in 2025. Reporting directly to the VP Projects, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee all department activities to support corporate objectives.
  • Manage the teams to ensure continuous improvement through the development, 
    standardization, and automation of reporting systems and processes.
  • Coordinate and develop the interface between management, projects, finance, 
    and other departments.
  • Assess workload and resource requirements, and recruit new personnel as needed.
  • Set and measure quality standards for the department.
    Monitor department output and deadlines and communicate feedback to the team.
  • Represent the company and department to clients and suppliers.
  • Set budgets, salaries, and bonuses for the department.
  • Organise and chair team meetings and events.
  • Support the company’s digitalization efforts.

What we expect from you

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A BSc or MSc degree in a financial or technical field.
  • Excellent knowledge of project cost control techniques.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least 15 years of relevant project control experience.
  • Experience in offshore and energy is a pre.
  • Proven track record as a manager or lead in a hierarchical or functional role.
  • Strong result-driven attitude.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Diplomatic and motivational abilities.
  • High stress resistance and accuracy.
  • Service-minded with a hands-on mentality.
