Your role

You will join the dynamic FP&A team that operates in a constantly evolving environment. The FP&A team is responsible for the financial corporate management reporting, the budget and forecasting cycles, long term financial planning, project accounting and intercompany recharges. The team is part of the Treasury and Financial Planning Department and the collaborative team structure allows for flexibility to the rapidly changing responsibilities. You will work alongside three finance professionals and report directly to the Team Lead Financial Planning & Analysis.

In your position, one of the focus will be placed on the man-hour allocation process to ensure efficient and accurate allocations to Allseas entities and projects while collaborating with the SAP implementation team, system owners and accounting. Next to this, you will provide to management relevant reports, dashboards and financial projections to support long-term business decisions and objectives with a positive impact on our people, projects, processes, business and financial results.

Emphasis is placed on the following:

  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts in close cooperation with Finance Business Partnering and Project Control and understand deviations between actuals and forecast;

  • Prepare and present financial reports and KPI’s to management and advisory board;

  • Participate in ad-hoc analysis and projects;

  • Actively participate in SAP implementation;

  • Validate intercompany recharges and project related revenues and costs;

  • Safeguard data integrity and compliance to financial standards and accounting policies.

You demonstrate a forward-thinking to problem-solving and you focus on creating long-term solutions rather than opting for temporary fixes.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a financial related study;

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in FP&A or as a financial / business controller;

  • Experience or high interest in data management, interpretation, and visualisation (Experience with PowerBi would be an advantage);

  • Experience in automation would be a plus (Python or VBA)

  • Excellent command of French and English language;

  • Willing to travel 2-4 times a year for short term business trips to the Netherlands.
