The Crew Discipline Planner works in the Crew Operations Department. In close cooperation with operational departments (disciplines) and Crew Operations Team Leads preparing the planning of all personnel required for the offshore operations.

With a fleet wide view preparing a well-balanced planning, taking into account the project and vessel specific requirements for a good execution of the work offshore. Identifying long-term requirements to ensure efficient use of personnel resources, liaising with HR for recruitment and promotion of existing crew.

Your role

  • Ensure a proper personnel planning for all Allseas vessels for his/her discipline
  • First point of contact for Crew and Disciplines regarding planning;
  • Relationship management with all Stakeholders: HR, Disciplines, VMT, L&D, Crew;
  • Proactive link between all Units within Crew Operations ;
  • Acting as a partner for the Operations Managers for the long-term resource requirements;
  • Discuss and decide with the involved discipline manager on resource requirements;
  • Liaise and provide input for Crew Operations Team Lead on planning and special requirements
  • Provide input to Operations and HR on (structural) crew personnel shortages / surplus where action is required;
  • Support the crew operations teams regarding short-term planning challenges;
  • Aim for a consistent and well-balanced crew planning for his/her discipline;
  • Maintain an up-to-date handbook, standard operating procedures and checklists;
  • Liaise with vessels about the crew composition and experience spread;
  • Liaise with HR for career development of Crew.

What we expect from you

  • HBO degree Personnel Management or equivalent
  • Relevant experience, preferably in offshore environment or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved (planning & organisation)
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to set priorities
  • Team player
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Willing to travel to vessels, must be visible across the fleet, Essen (Belgium) and Delft.
