On board the vessels, our marine crew work 12-hour shifts based on a schedule of five weeks on and five weeks off.

Our fleet is looking for a Third Engineer Deck. Are you the one we are looking for?

Your role

-        Perform independent watch keeping duties i.e. maintain production during pipe lay/heavy lift operations and prevent breakdowns;

-       Execution of watch keeping duties. Maintenance and repair activities, including fault finding;

-       Report to Shift Leader Deck and First Engineer Deck;

-       To keep safe and efficient watch during seagoing conditions and during DP operations;

-       Handover watch as per standing orders.

-       Execute maintenance and repairs on equipment;

-       Act as per standing instructions;

-       Perform duties as indicated on station bill and perform ship security duties;

-       Conduct all activities and tasks in accordance with Allseas corporate objectives and

             policies;

       -     Familiarise with and comply with Allseas' Integrated Management System (AIMS);

       -     Promote a safe and healthy working environment within all Allseas premises;

       -     Ensure all personal documentation, such as passport, seaman's book, medical certificate and safety (STCW) training certificates, is kept up-to-date, valid and will be hand carried on board in original;

         - Be alert, execute the "Stop the job" authority on any workplace activity on the grounds of immediate safety, health and environmental hazards, and inform the responsible manager immediately.

 

What we expect from you

       Dutch licence Officer in charge of an Engineering Watch no limitations or equivalent;

       Fluent English, both written and spoken;

       Sufficient experience in offshore construction equipment including, but not limited to pipe handling equipment, automatic welding systems, pipe tensioners and A&R equipment, ROV equipment;

       Experience with deck equipment, including but not limited to winches, deck cranes, lifesaving appliances, compressed air systems;

        Knowledge of pipelay equipment;

       Completion of all safety/trade training as per Allseas training matrices;

       Computer literate;

       Familiar in hydraulics and controls of hydraulic systems;

       Familiar with PLC  systems.
