As a Third Engineer Deck, you will be working on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the First Engineer Deck/Shift Leader Deck of the vessel.
You will be responsible for the deck equipment, and you will trouble shoot and service the hydraulic systems that power various deck machinery, you will support the team during pipelay and heavy lift operations. You will be working closely with other crew members, including engineers, electricians and riggers. You are part of the organisation leading the offshore pipelay market and therefore learn all about offshore pipe-laying, heavy lift and our support vessels activities.
To be successful as Third Engineer Deck at Allseas, it is important that you recognise yourself in the below. You have:
Completed a maritime education in Engineering.
A minimum 3 years’ experience as a Third Engineer or higher.
Valid Engineer Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency (CoC).
The required, valid certificates for the position according STCW 2010 amendments.
A valid; Passport, Seaman’s book, seafarers medical.
Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
Experience with deck equipment, such as; winches, deck cranes, lifesaving appliances, compressed air systems and hydraulic systems.
