As a market leader in offshore pipeline installation and subsea construction, Allseas has installed over 20,000 km of subsea pipeline worldwide operating a versatile fleet of pipelay and support vessels. Our fleet boasts some of the largest, most innovative and most technically advanced pipelay vessels in the world, including the world’s largest vessel 'Pioneering Spirit'.

On board the vessels, our NDT crew work 12-hour shifts based on a schedule of six weeks on and three weeks off. Our fleet is looking for AUT Operators.

Are you the experienced NDT Operator we are looking for?

Your role

  • Verify usage of correct calibration block (diameter, bevel and weight)
  • Verify usage of correct probes (frequency, pitch, wedges, etc.)
  • Weld inspection, evaluation and equipment calibration
  • Instruct Scanner Technician on location for repair marking
  • Liaise with client representative(s), Welding Foreman and QC Inspector
  • Report all AUT results and findings
  • Training and instruction of Scanner Technicians
  • NDT equipment maintenance

What we expect from you

  • ISO 9712 level 2 qualified for UT, PT and MT
  • AUT Operator certificate for the applicable AUT system
  • Trained and skilled for repair and maintenance of specialised NDT equipment
  • Experience as AUT operator on offshore pipeline installation vessels
  • Flexible
  • Decisive
  • Good communication and team working skills
