Successful maiden deepwater installation campaign for “Fortitude”

Congratulations to all Fortitude  crew for a successful maiden deepwater installation campaign in Western Australia.

As well as providing excellent pipelay support to Audacia, Fortitude  installed a series of heavyweight subsea structures to pin-point accuracy. Among them, manifolds weighing 500 tonnes, which registered 720 tonnes on the crane load cell just before landing on the seabed at 1320 water depth.

Assistant Project manager Dennis Telders: “What a debut down under! Fortitude successfully completed her installation scope of some 6000 tonnes of structures in Australian waters with absolute precision time after time, much to the clients’ satisfaction.”
