Assignment: Research various acceleration and optimisation techniques for data processing.
We are searching for students with knowledge of general-purpose computing on graphics processing units (GPGPU) to assist our talented R&D team in Eindhoven with the development of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment for weld inspection. This equipment generates large data streams (130 MB/s), that need to be processed, analysed, and visualised within a limited timeframe. Massive parallel computing techniques like CUDA, OpenCL and C++ AMP have the potential to provide big speed improvements.
If you have a healthy interest in GPGPU computing and like to research various parallel computing techniques (CPU and GPU) to improve the processing speed of our algorithms, than we are looking for you!
