Service Engineer Diesel

The Service Engineer Diesel is responsible for the maintenance and repair of vessel related equipment and assist Equipment Mechanics with all the equipment which is part of Allseas’ yards and workshops.

Your role

• Perform full or partial diesel engine overhauls and maintenance, on site and on board;
• Identify and execute modifications to diesel engines;
• Grow knowledge and develop expertise in his/her own field and advise technical staff and crew;
• Assume responsibility for a safe and efficient execution of work on board and on site;
• Execute maintenance and repair work on board at the highest possible professional level;
• Attend repairs and maintenance of other equipment at the yard.

What we expect from you

• A minimum of 3 years specialist experience in an offshore or maritime environment.
• MBO degree or equivalent;
• Diesel mechanic training combined with relevant experience.
