Equipment Co-ordinator

Equipment Co-ordinator

The Equipment Co-ordinator works within the Technical Services Department, which is a part of the Technical Department.
The Technical Department’s objective is to efficiently manage the maintenance, repair and modifications of all vessels, yards and equipment, to provide the best technical service and support to the company on- and offshore and to stay ahead of the development of new techniques, changing rules and regulations and client wishes.

Your role

In this role, you will be responsible for equipment that is used on Pipelay and heavy-lift projects. You get to know the ins and outs of equipment like internal lifting tools, dredging equipment, pipe recovery tools, hydraulic power units and many other types of equipment. With this knowledge, you are the point of contact for project teams to select the right equipment for the project. When equipment is selected, you will organize repair, maintenance and project preparation. This can be with own colleagues from Technical Services or subcontractors.

Besides this you

  • Manage the overview of all Allseas owned equipment in an online catalogue.
  • Organise maintenance on vessel equipment in long-term storage. E.g. thrusters, winches and a tensioner;
  • Prepare yearly budgets for the equipment.

It goes without saying that, as an Equipment Co-ordinator, you promote re-use of equipment and support continuous improvement activities within the Technical Department.

In this role you will work three days from the yard in Rotterdam, and, preferably, two days from our office in Delft.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a result-oriented and motivated Co-ordinator who is able to set priorities and organize the work from a can-do mentality.

You have

  • MBO, HBO Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or equivalent;
  • At least five years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in an offshore or maritime environment in a technical position;
  • Experience in a supervisory (technical) function at a ship repair yard, offshore company, dredging company or merchant navy;
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English language.

What we offer you

Working at Allseas allows you the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with creative thinking, collaboration and down-to-earth culture at its core.

You can expect

  • competitive industry benchmarked salary and excellent pension
  • performance based salary raises and bonuses
  • 30 holidays days per year, flexible working hours
  • extensive training and development programme, study budgets and coaching
  • internal clubs, committees, parties and (sportive) events
