To strengthen our HR Crew Department, based in our office in Essen (Belgium), we are looking for a Learing & Development (L&D) Crew Assistant.

 

Your role

The Learning & Development Crew department is taking care of all the training needs of the crew on our ships and makes sure that they hold all the necessary certfications.

As an L&D Crew Assistant, you will assist the L&D Crew Specialists by maintaining a proper documentation. 

Concretely, you will mainly focus on the following tasks:

  • You will verify and process all the certificates (and other documents) in our Crew Management System
  • You will support the L&D Crew Specialists with keeping all the information in our system up to date
  • If required, you will assist the L&D Crew Specialist with other tasks, like the planning and booking of trainings

What we expect from you

In order to succeed in this role, you should recognize yourself in the following profile:

 

  • Most importantly: you are a reliable administrative worker with a strong eye for detail 
  • You are proactive and hands on you can plan and organize your own work and are not afraid to ask 
  • Preferably, you have an MBO (NL) or TSO (B) level of education (or equivalent)
  • You have some relevant experience in administrative work, preferably in an international company
  • You have a professional level in English, both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus)
  • You are familiar with the most common MS Office applications, Excel being the most important one
