We are looking for a QC Inspector to join our fabrication, maintenance & repair and test site in Heijningen. Allseas Fabrication provides a variety of activities to support Allseas’ offshore operations. Custom-made subsea structures such as pipeline end manifolds and terminations, start-up and laydown heads, and components for Allseas’ vessels and equipment, are engineered and manufactured in-house. 

Your role

As a QC Inspector, you are responsible for ensuring that all items built for and by Allseas meet the specified requirements. You will join a dynamic team what will familiarise you with all quality related topics and procedures we are using to fabricate a variety of equipment to ensure our vessels can safely execute projects offshore. You will work closely with other QC Inspectors, Welding Engineers and the Unit Head Quality Control within Allseas. You operate independently or with the QC team located at the Allseas fabrication yard in Heijningen. 

  • You will monitor the quality of the fabrication of installation and removal equipment used offshore;
  • Make sure the quality control within the project is up to client and Allseas standards and properly documented;
  • Report your findings to the Unit head QC and liaise with the responsible people on the shop floor.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a QC inspector with at least 3 year experience in the fabrication of offshore application and a good knowledge of welding processes and quality requirements. Familiarity with fabrication and coating techniques is desirable.

  • Technical background is an advantage (MBO level);
  • CSWIP/VTw2 certification;
  • Knowledge of fabrication, NDT and coating techniques are an advantage;
  • Coating inspection qualifications (NACE or equivalent) are an advantage;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language (spoken and written).
