Your role

To be successful as a Surveyor at Allseas, it is important that you recognize yourself in the below: 
 
As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will work on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the Party Chief on board. You will ensure the accuracy and functionality of our state-of-the-art survey equipment to support a wide range of offshore activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing and configuring advanced navigation and data recording systems.
  • Performing sensor verifications, calibrations, and system interfacing checks.
  • Regularly monitoring and verifying project-specific online survey parameters.
  • Conducting offshore calibrations, such as LBL seabed arrays, gyro alignments, multibeam systems, and doppler velocity logs.
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards in seabed and subsea infrastructure mapping.

What we expect from you

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Technical Competences

  • BSc in Hydrography, FIG/IHO/ICA CAT B certification, or equivalent industrial, military, or academic experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in marine surveys and pipelay construction.
  • Proficiency in (ROV) survey hardware, software, and methodologies, including surface and subsea positioning systems.
  • Expertise in accurate seabed and subsea infrastructure mapping.
  • Solid understanding of offshore construction positioning and survey requirements, including installation and decommissioning.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and systematic approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A results-driven attitude with a commitment to excellence.
