Your role

As an ROV Pilot Technician you will be working on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the ROV Supervisor of the vessel. You will provide ROV support to Allseas pipelay, construction, inspection and survey operations, in a safe and efficient manner. With the aim to reduce or eliminate operational downtime of ROV spreads, you will also be responsible for testing, maintenance and fault finding in an adequate and cost efficient manner. Next to that you will be responsible for (de)mobilization of all ROV related equipment on the vessel, including set-up, hook-up with vessel systems and functional testing.

What we expect from you

To be successful as an ROV Pilot Technician at Allseas, it is important that you recognize yourself in the below. You have:
  • BSc level in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar, as per IMCA R002;
  • IMCA C005 Competence Certificate and a valid ROV High Voltage;
  • Experience with Work Class ROV systems (Schilling);
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with ROV construction, installation, survey support on offshore vessels;
  • Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, electronics, mechanics, high voltage and fibre optics;
  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
