Your role

As Automation Electrician, you will be working on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the Second Electrician and First Electrician of the vessel. You act per standing instructions, execute and assist with the administration of maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of automation systems. You understand the plant process and system behaviour and implement software and configuration changes in line with applicable work methods. You are part of the organisation leading the offshore pipelay market and therefore learn all about offshore pipe-laying and our support vessels activities.

What we expect from you

To be successful as Automation electrician at Allseas, it is important that you recognise yourself in the below. You have;

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronic/Automation Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering with Automatic Control, or equivalent;

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience on board DP offshore construction vessels / license electro technical rating; STCW III/6;

  • Basic scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Visual Basic or equivalent;

  • Proficiency with common industrial programming languages, with familiarity with Siemens Automation Systems considered a plus.

  • A valid; Passport, Seaman’s book, seafarers medical, and STCW02/03/05, SAF02+CAEBS, SECDSD and HV-LV III/2 III/6;

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
