Your role

As Surveyor you will be working on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the Party Chief of the vessel. You will install the latest online navigation and data recording software and make the necessary checks to ensure everything works smoothly. Performing survey sensor verification and calibrations, system interfacing checks and providing appropriate tables and diagrams to your superiors will also be part of your role. In addition, you will also check all project specific online survey parameters and where applicable, perform offshore calibrations, LBL seabed arrays and ROV systems such as gyro, multibeam and doppler velocity logs.

What we expect from you

To be successful as a Surveyor at Allseas, it is important that you recognize yourself in the below. You have:
  • BSc level in Hydrography, FIG/IHO/ICA CAT B or relevant industrial, military or academic experience;
  • Good understanding of the (ROV) survey hardware, software, methodologies, techniques such as surface/subsea positioning accuracies and quality of survey sensor data;
  • Expertise in accurate seabed and subsea infrastructure mapping;
  • Knowledge in offshore construction positioning and survey requirements such as installation works and decommissioning;
  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
