SAP Business Analyst - Projects

Are you able to build a bridge between business and information technology? We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical SAP Business Analyst in the discipline Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations to join our Information Systems and Technology Department (IS&T Department) in Delft, the Netherlands. In this role, your primary responsibility is liaising between the business and the professionals within the IS&T Department. As a SAP Business Analyst, you will gain a profound understanding of business requirements and translate them into IT application requirements. 

The SAP Business Analyst is part of the IS&T Department. This department is responsible for providing specific support and advice for all the different active management systems, information systems and databases within Allseas. The SAP Business Analyst reports directly to the Unit Head IT Applications. While working on specific projects, you will also report to the respective Project Manager.

Your role

  • Anticipate business requirements, and uncover areas for improvement to smarten the business process;
  • Analyse, develop, implement, document, support and maintain applications related to your discipline (Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations); 
  • Balance functional and technical requirements for the development of new and existing IT solutions in your field;
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior colleagues, business owners and key users.

What we expect from you

  • HBO level or equivalent plus experience relevant for the job.
  • Prior experience with a large, complex SAP S/4Hana implementation project for Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM);
  • Experience with the evaluation and standardisation (best practices) of business processes;
  • Strong domain knowledge in capital projects and project engineering business in the maritime or construction industry;
  • Experience in cross-functional area integration with SAP Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain;
  • Experience in mapping company specific end-to-end project processes to SAP functionality;
  • Experience with integration to 3rdp planning software, preferably Oracle Primavera;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
