Scope of work

  • Engineering, preparation, removal, and disposal of the accommodation (QP), drilling (DP) and production (PCP) structures (topsides, jackets and bridges) from the original Valhall complex
  • Engineering, preparation, removal, and disposal of the nearby unmanned Hod A platform and 2/4G jacket
  • Pre-lift preparation work and cutting of platform legs
  • Design and fabrication of TLS yokes interfaces, navigational aid and grillages
  • Jacket pile and leg cutting, and template removal
  • Transfer and load-in of structures to Aker Solutions’ (Norway) disposal facility at Stord, Norway for recycling

  • Offshore preparations carried out in both “cold” and “live” oil and gas platform environments in Valhall field
  • Use of internal lifting tools to avoid excessive above water jacket preparations
