Scope of work
- Engineering, procurement and removal of the 16,000 t Brent Alpha topsides
- Pre-lift preparation work including removal and separation of underdeck caissons and risers, installation of lift points at the legs and sea fastening of modules
- Strengthening of the platform legs by grouting
- Cutting of the platform legs
- Design and fabrication of lifting horse shoe yokes, support stools and grillage
- Transfer of topsides from Pioneering Spirit to Iron Lady and load-in to dismantling yard (Hartlepool, UK)
