As Regulatory Liaison Officer, you will be part of the Allseas’ QHSE Department which provides support and governance in relation to Quality Health Safety Environment and Sustainability aspects across the organisation. 
 
The QHSE department is consisting of some 30 colleagues in total. We appreciate an international team setting and with the representation of 13 different nationalities on our team, it is what characterises our department; together we build our QHSE culture. Your role

Your direct team members will be situated in Kuala Lumpur, operating in a multi-discipline office set-up. You will be supporting departments throughout the company, but also project and proposal teams. 
 
Key responsibilities for the role are as follows:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with federal and state regulators;
  • Ensuring systems are implemented to assure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations and standards;
  • Preparation and submission of regulatory documents and reports;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders within Allseas to ensure compliance with regulations;
  • Maintaining a regulatory compliance action plan and local content management plan.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field, minimum of 5 years working experience in the Energy industry;
  • Excellent knowledge of the regulatory environment in Malaysia with respect to the Energy and Oil and Gas industries; 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work offshore and travel if needed, approximately twice per month;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Able to follow and complete the HUET / BOSIET training. 
 
Ideally candidates will also hold a current Certificate in Safety and Health (FMM-IM & DOSH) though not mandatory.
