Scope of work
- Recovery of 18-inch pipeline at 1300 m water depth
- Installation of 26 km 18-inch pipeline, piggybacked with 4-inch vent line, and pipeline end structure (PLET)
- Fabrication of a laydown and A&R heads, and friction and anti-rotation clamps
- Client interface on piggyback block design, J-mode PLET design and laydown head design
Project specials
- World record water depth (1925 m) for installation of a piggyback pipeline in combination with a PLET
- Area known for very strong currents (surface current can exceed 3 knots), impacting workability for transfer of pipe from pipe supply vessels
