Your role

As a Third Engineer Engine Room, you will be working on offshore projects worldwide, reporting to the First Engineer Engine Room/Second Engineer Engine Room of the vessel.

You act as an officer in Charge of Engineering watch, keep safe and efficient watch during seagoing conditions and during DP operations. Next to that you will execute repairs and maintenance in engine rooms. General vessel maintenance and safety equipment inspections are part of your day-to-day. You are part of the organisation leading the offshore pipelay market and therefore learn all about offshore pipe-laying, heavy lifting and our support vessels activities

What we expect from you

To be successful as Third Engineer Engine Room at Allseas, it is important that you recognise yourself in the below. You have:

  • Completed a maritime education in Engineering;

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience as a Third Engineer or higher;

  • Valid Engineer Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency (CoC);

  • The required, valid certificates for the position according STCW 2010 amendments;

  • A valid; Passport, Seaman’s book, seafarers medical;

  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
