We are currently looking for an Equipment Work Planner who is responsible for the execution of all planning and co-ordinating tasks, related to Allseas’ projects and specifications at the Allseas’ fabrication site in Heijningen, the Netherlands. 

The Equipment Work Planner works within the Technical Services Department, which is a part of the Technical Department. The Technical Department’s objective is to efficiently manage the maintenance, repair and modifications of all vessels, yards and equipment, to provide the best technical service and support to the company on- and offshore and to stay ahead of the development of new techniques, changing rules and regulations and client wishes.

Your role

In the role of Equipment Work Planner you will be taking care of a correct and detailed planning, data input for KPI’s and reports, workorders and ensure quality assurance administration. You will use your experience in a technical / administrative position to further improve the workprocsses,

Besides this, you will

  • Plan all operations before commencing project related work in agreement with Unit Head Equipment Services;
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches;
  • Read and understand all project related data, blueprints etc.;
  • Detect faulty equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors;
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all schedule matters relating to the project;
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of work in agreement with the Unit Head Equipment Services, including details of materials and machines to be used, cost of materials, mechanical and human resources, timelines and quality standards to be met;
  • Prepare financial statements;
  • Adjust workflows and document the (new) procedures;
  • Draw-up action plans in co-operation with the Unit Head Equipment Services;
  • Compile project installation folders and build inventories of the related project risks;
  • Maintain and process all project related documents.

What we expect from you

  • MBO degree Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or equivalent
  • Experience in technical administration and work planning
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English language
