Lead Installation Engineer - Australia

We are looking for a Lead Installation Engineer to join our project office in Perth, Australia.
Working closely with our engineering and project management base in Delft, the Netherlands, the Perth office is responsible for securing new work, and preparing and executing construction projects in Australian waters. Allseas has a 20-year track record of serving the Australian energy industry, leveraging our offshore expertise and deep-water technology to help clients realise their field development goals.

The Lead Installation Engineer works within the offshore Pipeline Engineering Department, which is responsible for a variety of disciplines including design, fabrication and installation, in preparation for and support of offshore pipeline installation projects. Part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, your focus is preparatory work such as design, analyses, working procedures, material take-off and offshore engineering support.

Your role

As an Installation Engineer, you assist the project team in designing and implementing innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions for the preparation and safe and successful completion of all offshore installation activities. You manage the engineering team, draftsmen, conduct analyses, develop procedures, perform detailed calculations and simulations using the appropriate computer software and provide hands-on support on board the installation vessels during the offshore phase.

What we expect from you

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who is motivated to learn and contribute to our team in Perth. To succeed in this role you are a results-driven team player, with a hands-on mentality. You are analytical, accurate, flexible and service oriented. 

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience, including DP and anchor S-lay, AWTI and subsea construction work.
• Excellent English skills and a willingness to work offshore are a given.
