Senior IT Business Analyst

Are you able to build a bridge business and Information Technology? We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical Senior IT Business Analyst in the discipline Supply Chain / Enterprise Asset Management to join our Information Systems and Technology Department (IT Department) in Delft, the Netherlands.  In this role, your primary responsibility is liaising between the business and the developers within the IT Department. As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will gain a provide understanding of business requirements and translate hem into IT application requirements.  

The Senior IT Business Analyst is part of the IT Department. This department is responsible for providing specific IT support and advice for all the different active management systems, information systems and databases within Allseas. The Senior IT Business Analyst reports directly to the Unit Head IT Applications. While working on specific projects, he/she will also report to the respective Project Manager.

Your role

You will:

• Manage competing resources and priorities; balance functional and technical requirements for the development of new and existing IT solutions in your field Supply Chain / Enterprise Asset Management.
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes (Lean/Agile) and develop optimization strategies.
• Contribute to optimising the corporate application landscape together with other disciplines and system analysts.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior colleagues.

What we expect from you

• HBO level or equivalent, plus minimum 4 years’ experience relevant for the job.
• In depth knowledge of the discipline-related standards by education or work experience, including some years’ experience in ERP related environments.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the discipline-related standards, preferably project related, of which 2 years’ as a discipline specialist.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel.
