Business Controller Fabrication

Located in Heijningen, the Netherlands, Allseas Fabrication (AFBV) specialises in the engineering and construction of complex, custom steel structures and equipment, and provides key production, testing and maintenance services for our Innovations, Field Joint Coating and Technical divisions. 

For this location, we are looking for a Business Controller to join our Financial Controlling department. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing clear, accurate and insightful analysis and feedback on AFBV costs and revenues. As a part of our team is located at our office in Delft, you will be working from Delft one day per week.

Your role

As a Business Controller, you will help Allseas to achieve its goals by providing input to the organisation to make strategic choices with a positive impact on our people, project deliverables, business operations and financial results. 

Reporting to our Group head office, you will prepare business performance reports for management, produce budget and revenue forecasts, and provide detailed trend analysis to support decision-making concerning fabrication projects, the fabrication business and the Heijningen site.

You are the go-to person for all finance relates queries, and you play an important role in the procure-to-pay process and are responsible for the quarterly revenue and costs recognition. 

Furthermore, together with the Fabrication Site Manager, you are actively involved in the control and further optimisation of AFBV’s business processes and financial performance, identifying potential shortfalls and inefficiencies, and identifying and further developing opportunities for improvement.

In your resume we hope to find

• a completed a HBO / university education or similar level of working skills and knowledge;
• 3-5 years’ experience as a financial or business controller, (in a production environment is a pre);
• excellent analytical and numerical skills;
• a pro-active attitude and able to organise and plan your own work
