Junior Planning Engineer

To stay ahead of the industry, we are developing tomorrow’s technology today, transforming bold ideas into state-of-the-art solutions to meet the market’s ever changing needs. Do you trust your own vision and have the courage to pursue it? Then join the thinkers, leaders and visionaries at Allseas!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a resourceful Junior Planning Engineer to join our Project Planning & Cost Control Department. Based in Delft, the Netherlands, you will join a large and highly experienced team and gain exposure to the full life cycle of complex offshore projects from inception to completion.

How your working day can look like?

You start your day with checking the daily progress reports to see how the pipelay-, heavy lift- or construction vessels are performing on the projects you are working on. During the planning team meeting, you will get updated on new projects and discuss new ideas about optimising the planning and progress process with your colleagues.

After the meeting, you continue to develop the baseline schedule you are working on, based on the contract and information you collected from the project team and the various disciplines. You sit together with the Project Manager and Lead Engineer to discuss your proposal to solve the clash you identified in the schedule.

When the baseline schedule is optimised, you will sit together with the project cost controller to discuss how to distribute the contract value over the activities. Based on the report requirement from the contract, you define a coding structure and assign the codes to the activities. Then you will set up the progress S-curves for the main packages and disciplines. Once you have completed and checked the total package, you upload it in the Document Control System for internal and external review and approval.

Does this appeal to you? Then you may be the right person for the job.
