Equipment Electrician

We are looking for a passionate, service oriented Equipment Electrician with a detailed understand of electrical systems and components to join our new fabrication, testing, repair and maintenance site in Heijningen, the Netherlands.

Part of the Technical Services Department, the Equipment Electrician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing vessel and yard equipment. The Technical Services Department is part of the Technical Department manages the maintenance, repair and modifications of Allseas’ vessels, yards and equipment.

This is a dynamic and challenging role within a company in the cutting edge of innovation. You will be part of the onsite team responsible for maintaining state-of-the art production equipment. We are looking for a degree-educated Electrician with excellent troubleshooting skills.

Your role

• Assume responsibility for the safe and efficient performance of the pipe production equipment assigned to the department
• Attend repairs and maintenance of other equipment, such as workshop equipment, at the yards or vessels
• Assist engineers in trouble shooting failures to find cause
• Keep administration and registration of all the equipment up to date

What we expect from you

• MBO degree in Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of electrical systems and components
• Knowledge of relevant certification and standardisation systems, e.g. NEN 3140
• Passion, diligence, integrity and safety awareness
• Relevant experience in an offshore or maritime environment
