An exciting opportunity has arisen for a service oriented and creative Equipment Mechanic to join our new fabrication, testing, repair and maintenance site in Heijningen, the Netherlands. 

The Technical Services Department is part of the Technical Department (TD). The TD efficiently manages the maintenance, repair and modifications of Allseas’ vessels, yards and equipment and provides the best technical service and support to the company both on- and offshore. The Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing vessel related pipe production equipment.

Your role

• Maintain and (new) build the Allseas' production equipment related to offshore pipe lay;
• Assume responsibility for the safe and efficient performance of the pipe production equipment assigned to the department;
• Troubleshoot and test workability of all production equipment;
• Attend repairs and maintenance of other equipment at the yards;
• Keep administration and registration of all the equipment up to date.

What we expect from you

• MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronica;
• Relevant experience in an offshore or maritime environment is considered an advantage.
