We are seeking a Junior P&O Crew Consultant to join our dynamic P&O Vessels Department in Essen, Belgium. Our crewing team in Essen is responsible for the hiring, training, administration and operational planning of the Allseas fleet, ensuring our vessels are supplied with experienced and qualified personnel.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the offshore industry, excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a workload.

Your role

  • Carry out the personnel administration
  • Enter personal data in the personnel information system
  • Maintain contacts with recruitment agencies
  • Process job applications
  • Draw up employment contracts and employer statements for crew members
  • Provide and process necessary documents for crew members
  • Maintain the personal files of crew
  • Process tax forms for crew
  • Process time registration and keep records of illness

What we expect from you

  • HBO degree in Personnel Management or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in an HR/P&O function, preferably in offshore environment
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken
  • Excellent control of Microsoft Office packages
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility, accuracy and stress resistance
