An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and accurately working Project Surveyor to join our Survey Department in Delft, the Netherlands. The Project Surveyor is responsible for providing technical and commercial input for both proposals and project support.

Your role

• Give support and advice to the project team and the Operations Department on (ROV) survey related matters;
• Evaluate project requirements, identify required survey resources and deliverables, and compile detailed survey procedures;
• Monitor progress and status of offshore survey activities and provide guidance via regular communication with the Allseas’ offshore survey representatives and party chief;
• Ensure adherence to the project procedures, client contract specifications from data acquisition to issue of as-built survey deliverables and manage survey subcontractors if applicable;
• Support and advise the Proposals Management Department on technical and commercial aspects of survey requirements in contract documentation during tendering phase;
• Remain up to date with latest survey technology and methodology;
• Assist the Department Head Survey with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Allseas’ management systems.

What we expect from you

• BSc/MSc degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Geophysics, Survey Engineering or sufficient knowledge gained through experience in a comparable role in a similar field;
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant offshore industry experience in offshore hydrographic survey work;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel.
