We are currently looking for an equipment specialist with proven management experience to lead our Equipment Services team at Allseas’ production yard in IJmuiden, the Netherlands. Integral to our growing Technical Services Department, the Unit Head Equipment Services is responsible for all Allseas’ equipment workshop maintenance and repairs activities. The unit assists other Allseas departments with assembly and testing of in-house developed equipment. The yard activities will relocate to Heijningen early 2018.

Your role

• Manage daily operations and deliverables of the equipment workshop
• Monitor and steer the processes to contribute to the Technical Services Department KPIs
• Supervise Work Preparers, Equipment Work Planners, Equipment Foremen and Equipment Specialists
• Handle all internal customer contacts in a pro-active and professional way
• Oversee forecasting and scheduling of all R&M workshop events
• Develop, maintain and update equipment maintenance schedules
• Manage Unit budgets in a cost effective way
• Participate proactively in initiatives to improve departmental processes and interfaces with other departments
• Assist with preparation of annual salary and bonus reviews
• Analyse material usage and project feedback, e.g. lessons learned for future projects
• Support QHSE Department in safety audits and take the lead in reporting related concerns or issues

What we expect from you

• Technical HBO/BSc degree level or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ in an offshore or maritime environment in a technical position
