Application Business Analyst

We are currently looking for an Application Business Analyst with a proven track record in business systems analysis and administration to join out IT Department in Delft, the Netherlands. The Application Business Analyst will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting the analytical, building, testing and deployment of new software product features.

Your role

• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• Perform quality assurance
• Test and document all changes before deployment, define internal training specifications if required at a user or IT group level
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners to optimise our integration
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Report common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
• Communicate key insights and findings to product team;
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
• Plan and co-ordinate interventions, maintenance, updates and upgrades and procedural changes related with applications management

What we expect from you

• BSc degree in Information Technology with a minimum 5 years’ relevant IT experience, preferably in an offshore, marine or industrial environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in SharePoint governance and 4 years’ with software related systems
• Experience with functional designs, web parts, management and troubleshooting
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
• Prepared to work on short-term assignments abroad
• Previous experience in business systems analysis or quality assurance
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
