An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join our Technical Department in Delft, the Netherlands. The Electronics Engineer is responsible for preparing, testing, installing and maintaining electronic equipment onshore that is used offshore to perform survey, positioning and remote intervention tasks.

Your role

• Install, calibrate and test all equipment prior to shipment / mobilisation;
• Identify faults and effect repairs as and when required to maintain operation status of all equipment and data network;
• Liaise with offshore Survey Engineers during operations;
• Supervise equipment administration, reporting and log keeping including tracking of equipment;
• Test and interface survey sensors and systems to vessel, ROV, online and offline systems;
• Manage (preventive) maintenance schedules for all survey equipment;
• Keep abreast of relevant technical developments, working practices and department procedures.

What we expect from you

• Minimum 3 years offshore survey engineering experience;
• BSc degree Electronics or equivalent;
• Experience with ROV's, acoustic positioning and survey systems;
• Analytical, attentive and capable of performing electronic repairs;
• Computer literate, with a good understanding of knowledge of hardware, software and operating systems;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Affinity with administrative systems;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• In possession of a driving license;
• Willingness to travel.
