In a world that is changing more than ever, we are constantly finding new ways to enable and deploy ground-breaking advances in the offshore energy market. We offer the chance to innovate and improve, providing you the platform to realise your ambitions and dreams.

Are you able to contract and manage complex decommission and demolition scopes in a safe and efficient manner?

We are looking for a proven Disposal Manager with a track record of successful stakeholder management and engagement to join our Project Management Department in Delft.

Your role

Our Project Management Department is responsible for the safe and compliant execution of offshore construction projects executed for major energy companies worldwide. As a Disposal Manager, you manage and align multiple work packages for the disposal of decommissioned offshore assets – platform topsides and jackets – removed by our construction vessels. You work closely with the dedicated project team and stakeholders to deliver cost-effective disposal work package(s) safely, within time, budget and in compliance with all specified quality requirements.

You will

  • Evaluate and review subcontracts for decommissioning work scopes
  • Manage subcontractors for the disposal work package(s), including budget responsibility, and adequately forecast until end of project and ensure the forecast remains current
  • Interface with the involved internal disciplines and various suppliers so that agreed objectives are met
  • Instil ownership and accountability among internal disciplines and suppliers
  • Ensure the work is performed to highest possible safety standard
  • Prevent nonconformities relating to product, process and Allseas’ management system
  • Ensure smooth transition between different project phases with functional handover
  • Take responsibility for management and enhancement of own competence, in co-operation with relevant departments

What we expect from you

We are looking for a strong communicator and negotiator who applies a hands-on approach to building and developing relationships with subcontractors, clients and other external parties. The successful candidate is a proactive professional who thrives on getting things done as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You are self-motivated, with a proven track record of commercial success and willingness to travel regularly to the disposal sites (predominately in the UK, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands).

Besides this, you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Additional relevant technical and managerial training
  • Minimal 5 years’ experience in project / contract management, preferable in marine / offshore industry
  • Experience in industrial disposal / recycling
  • Experience in HSE Management and Project Management
