Equipment Mechanic

We are currently looking for an Equipment Electrician to join our Technical Services team based at Allseas’ fabrication, maintenance, repair and test site in Heijningen the Netherlands.

Technical Services is part of the larger Technical Department, which efficiently and effectively manages maintenance, repair and modifications of our vessels, yards and equipment

Your role

As Equipment Electrician, you are responsible for the safe and peak performance of state-of-the-art pipelay production equipment during the project execution phase offshore. Daily tasks include inspecting, and maintaining existing equipment, building and testing electrical systems for new equipment, and troubleshooting to optimise output and performance.

In this role, you ensure the administration and registration of all assigned equipment is up to date and, where needed, assist with repairs and maintenance of other equipment at worksites on- and offshore.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a passionate, service-oriented Equipment Electrician with a detailed understanding of electrical systems and components and excellent troubleshooting skills. You have relevant experience in an offshore or maritime environment. A high standard of safety awareness is a given.

• MBO level-4 in Electrical Engineering 
• Experience working with electrical panels, control boxes and junction boxes
• Knowledge of NEN-3140 and NEN-1010
• Excellent Dutch language skills, and good command of English language​.
