SAP Business Analyst - Supply Chain

Are you able to build a bridge business and Information Technology? We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical SAP Business Analyst in the discipline Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations to join our Information Systems and Technology Department (IS&T Department) in Delft, the Netherlands. In this role, your primary responsibility is liaising between the business and the professionals within the IS&T Department. As a SAP Business Analyst, you will analyse business requirements from the current business process models. You will seek options to implement best practices like lean management. Value streams like purchase to pay will support the updated business processes. Providing Allseas the opportunity to use standard application functionality in the best way possible.

The SAP Business Analyst is part of the IS&T Department. This department is responsible for providing specific support and advice for all the different active management systems, information systems and databases within Allseas. The SAP Business Analyst reports directly to the Unit Head IT Applications. While working on specific projects, he/she will also report to the respective Project Manager.

Your role

• Experience with the evaluation and standardisation (best practices) of business processes; anticipation of business requirements, and to uncover areas for improvement to smarten the business process;
• Analyse, develop, implement, document, support and maintain applications related to your discipline (Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations); 
• Balance functional and technical requirements for the development of new and existing IT solutions in your field;
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior colleagues, business owners and key users.

What we expect from you

• HBO level or equivalent plus experience relevant for the job.
• Minimum of 2 full lifecycle S/4HANA (SCM) implementation experience;
• Minimal 3 years experience with SAP Supply Chain Management and Sourcing & Procurement including modules SAP Transportation Management, SAP Extended Warehouse Management and/or SAP Ariba; 
• Experience in cross-functional area integration with SAP Finance;
• Experience in mapping company specific end-to-end project SCM to SAP functionality;
• Prior experience of working for maritime and/or offshore construction industry, Experience in logistics would also be considered;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
