IT Support Engineer

Allseas Engineering is looking for a specialist to join a dynamic and innovative around the clock organization to help thrive in offshore pipeline installation, heavy lift and subsea construction. Are you a tech savvy, detail oriented and a well-organized individual? Do you enjoy advancing a company in working more efficiently? If so, Allseas is looking for someone who can help us improve and optimize our support organisation.

Your role

With all the changes coming up it’s a great moment to step in. We are really busy to be future proof again. You will contribute to developing a knowledge base, a huge ERP migration, optimizing the flow and processes in our service management software (TOPdesk) and a lot more. We are on the eve of a major transformation program that doesn’t come along very often. Seize your opportunity and:

  • Provide top level service towards our (internal) customers.
  • Give (functional) support on our core applications.
  • Help us to reduce our application landscape
  • Plan and co-ordinate deployments and upgrades for applications.
  • Assist in the documentation of internal processes and policies.
  • Keep up to date with the latest program updates and developments regarding new features.

What we expect from you

To be successful in our support team and organization you will bring:

  • The right service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in English (both verbally and in writing)
  • MBO4+ degree (preferably in Information Technology or any related study)
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant (professional) experience in a customer focused and/or skilled service desk
  • Experience with custom application support
  • Experience with service management software
  • Awareness of protocols and procedures that are necessary to do a good job
