Scope of work

  • Design and fabrication of 1 start-up head and 11 oversized heads for PLEMs
  • Installation of 6 pipelines: 1 x 12 inch, 3 x 18 inch and 2 x 20 inch
  • Installation of 11 PLEMs; weight from 90 to 120 t
  • Installation of a suction pile and start-up sheave assembly

Project specials

  • Start-up and laydown near live pipelines and close to live structures, including the Åsgard B platform
  • Installation of heavy 120 t PLEMs with Lorelay
  • Design and fabrication of a new PLEM installation frame on Lorelay’s starboard side
