We are looking for a technically savvy Draftsman who is detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to join the Drawing Department at our new fabrication, maintenance, and repair and test site in Heijningen, the Netherlands. The department produces all the detailed fabrication drawings for equipment and structures constructed in the fabrication shop.

Your job is to produce and revise detailed 2D/3D procedural and design drawings and sketches for project preparations and the fabrication and assembly of structures and equipment. We are looking for someone highly proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor who thrives under pressure and can prioritise multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

Your role

  • Independently produce detailed Fabrication drawings
  • Co-operate and consult with colleagues on drawings
  • Assist in the identification of technical problems and contribute with possible solutions
  • Update the Unit Head regularly about the status and progress of the work
  • Provide feedback and input to improve departmental standards, working methods and guidelines

What we expect from you

  • MTS (Vocational)/HTS (Bachelor) Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5 years drafting experience
  • CAD experience necessary; AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Good command of both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken
  • Technical knowledge and interest is a must
