We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning & Co-ordination Officer to join our Material Management Department (BOYS Yard) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. BOYS Yard is responsible for all logistical elements of supply chain management within Allseas. As a Planning & Co-ordination Officer, you will take responsibility for efficient and effective planning, co-ordination and execution of material management services to Allseas vessels, projects and departments.

Your role

• Plan, co-ordinate and control the BOYS Yard/Material Management (local) operation
• Mobilisation/demobilisation of projects/vessels (including backload)
• Consumables flow to vessels
• Complete, correct and timely delivery of all required materials for further transportation
• Compliance with authorities (e.g. customs, DCMR)
• Control of performances, customs goods, gas/dangerous goods, loads, containers/reefers
• External storage co-ordination and control o Container management
• Daily communication with the Chartering & Logistics Department
• Weekly updates for internal purposes
• Customer service to vessels, projects and departments
• Emergency response alarm co-ordination
• Facility tasks BOYS Yard (co-ordination)

What we expect from you

• MBO degree (preferably in logistics)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within logistics planning and/or maritime operations
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
