As a leading player in the global offshore market, working every day at sea we are concerned about the future of our oceans. Respect for the environment and conducting our operations in a responsible and sustainable manner is one of the core principles at Allseas. Therefore, we are taking an active stance, using our engineering expertise and bold thinking to support the global effort to rid our oceans of plastic.
Our goal is to reduce marine plastic debris entering the seas and oceans by removing it from as close to the source as possible. Within our Innovations Department, a team of dedicated engineers is leading the way, developing a system to collect plastic particles in rivers and waterways before they can spread to the seas and oceans and break up. Concept design and testing has begun, and we are collaborating with universities and various authorities as we seek to optimise a practical, affordable collection system for worldwide use.
We are looking for an ambitious and bold-thinking R&D Engineer with an affinity for prototyping to join our River Plastics Removal Project, based in Delft, the Netherlands. This project is still in its infancy so you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on this new emerging market. Your time will be divided between research, analysis, concept design, and prototype building and testing.
