We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Visa Specialist to join our P&O Crew Change Department in Essen, Belgium. Our Visa Specialist supports all crew personnel with their visa requests through correct, complete and fit-for-purpose administration and reports directly to the Unit Head Crew Training.

The ideal candidate will have previous visa experience, be accurate and is organised with excellent communication skills.

Your role

• Apply for visas and work permits on behalf of crew members
• Provide all necessary visa on a duly approved visa/travel request
• Build up and maintain relationships with visa agents
• Inform travellers in a timely manner about necessary documents regarding their visa
• Effectively manage and administer the visa and travel requests 
• Perform data entry in several systems
• Maintain a complete and up-to-date handbook and checklists of procedures
• Inform Allseas of all relevant developments, such as visa regulations and required documentation
• Verify and assign all visa and travel related invoices for approval
• Assist other departments with visa advice

What we expect from you

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team 
• Accurate 
• Stress endurance
