We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT professional with proven leadership qualities to manage our Supportdesk Engineering Team. Based in Delft, the Netherlands, the Supportdesk comprises complementary roles of high skilled IT Engineers responsible for resolving all hardware, software and networking issues. Reporting to the Department Head IT, you will ensure your team delivers high-quality, customer-oriented technical support to guarantee optimal operation and usage of Allseas’ IT infrastructure resources.

Candidates will have the ability to successfully multi-task, possess strong leadership and communication skills and be comfortable and experienced working in a fast moving and high paced environment. We are looking for someone who will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional challenges and responsibilities.

Your role

Your role

  • Supervise, motivate and manage the Supportdesk Engineers to ensure issues are efficiently logged, prioritised, investigated and resolved
  • Manage the “incident management”, “problem management” and “change management” processes
  • Act as a member of the Change Advisory Board
  • Manage and maintain excellent customer service
  • Provide IT support to departments, to commercial projects and to the Allseas fleet
  • Resource scheduling
  • Promote and support the continuous improvement and innovation of activities and processes to improve overall service efficiency within the Supportdesk
  • Promote and support continuous improvement activities within the IT Department

What we expect from you

What we expect from you

  • HBO/BSc degree in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 1-2 years’ professional experience as a team leader
  • +3 years’ experience as Senior Supportdesk Engineer
  • Microsoft MCDST/MCITP/MCSA/MCSE certification
  • ITIL v3 Service Management experience
