For our office in Delft, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Supportdesk Engineer to join our Information Technology (IT) Department. The Supportdesk Engineering Team is responsible for providing high-quality, customer-oriented technical support to ensure optimal operation and usage of Allseas’ IT infrastructure resources.
Your role
- Log, prioritise, investigate and resolve in a timely manner all incidents and/or queries received via telephone, e-mail and walk-in, in accordance with current standards;
- Support, configure, maintain, test, install and document Allseas’ corporate desktop/laptop environment (including travelling users);
- Identify, resolve, and document problems and potential enhancements;
- Install, configure and document standard software packages;
- Provide solutions for hardware and software technical problems;
- Create and maintain internal telephone system accounts (PABX);
- Set up training/workshop environment;
- Prepare IT related shipments to the vessels;
- Support maintenance schedule for travelling users;
- Administer the configuration management database.
What we expect from you
- MBO degree or equivalent;
- Microsoft MCDST/MCITP and/or MCSA/MCSE certification;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 8.1/7 desktop OS, and Microsoft Office 2013/2010;
- Minimum 1–2 years’ proven experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments, preferably in an international work environment;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Willingness to travel;
- Able to set priorities, stress tolerant and service oriented.
